Edmonton was recently graced with the grand opening of a handful of pizza places, all of which are local to Alberta. Some are pre-existing pizzerias with new locations as well. These new take-out spots and restaurants offer a huge variety when it comes to pizza flavours. No one place creates their pies in the same way. So it is probably best to try them all! You can try different types of pizza crust, new topping selections, and all the other great food and drink offered as these pizza restaurants in Edmonton.
Good Mate Pizza
The Chili Paneer, for example, combines paneer with mozzarella, jalapenos, and their signature chili sauce. Meat lovers might want to try Good Mate’s Chicken Do Pyoza with two types of cheese, and two types of onions on top of the marinated chicken. Ordering is available through the website, Skip, Door Dash, and Uber for delivery or pickup.

Ale Architect
Happy Beer Street, as in 99th Street NW, welcomes its newest taproom. The new Ale Architect also serves some delectable pizzas to pair with their beers. You can try these pizzas by the slice (availability changes each day), or by the whole pie.
They offer a few classics like Margherita or Pepperoni. But you might want to opt for their signatures like the Meat Lovers. The Meat Lovers, aka the Bear, is topped with fennel sausage, capicola, smoked meat, pepperoni, mozzarella, and asiago.

Pizza Talks & Donair
South-central Edmonton welcomes Pizza Talks & Donair as one of the area’s newest pizza places. The takeout joint offers unique and flavourful pizza varieties, and a long list of other menu items. This includes donairs, burgers, poutine, rice bowls, and chicken strips.
They offer continuous deals and specials on their food, too. The pizzas are available for dine-in (or dining on the patio).

Leopard
Try something different for your next pizza night with Leopard’s signature sourdough crust. These crusts are a bit lighter than typical pizza crusts and have a delicious array of topping combinations.
Some include the classic Margherita or the Formaggi with five different types of Italian cheeses. These pizzas are all best with Leopard’s house-made dipping sauces or the local brews on tap. Online ordering for takeout is available on their website.

LovePizza Heritage Valley
Those in Edmonton’s southwest can have a new option for pizza night with the opening of a LovePizza location. The local Edmonton pizza chain also has locations in downtown Edmonton, on Rabbit Hill Road, and in Leduc and Spruce Grove. They have a great rotation of daily specials on their pizzas, sides, and drinks. Ordering for pickup or delivery is available on their website.

The Mash on Whyte
Pizza and beer are an undeniable combination for some, and the Mash recognizes this with their large menus. The Mash started in Calgary, and now has three Edmonton locations. This includes their newest Edmonton spot on Whyte Avenue. And the name Mash does not come from the epic pairing of beer and pizza. The Mash uses upcycled grain from the Half Hitch micro-brewery to make their pizza crusts!

Ricky’s Pizza
Ricky’s Pizza recently opened in the Rabbit Hill neighbourhood with a large selection of snacks, or large meals big enough for families. There are a wide array of different pizza types and flavours on the menu, along with donairs, wings, pasta, fries and poutine, deep fried pickles, and more.
