Illumi: A Dazzling Light Exhibition by Cavalia Coming to Mississauga This Fall

Toronto and the GTA is famous for their famous light parks during the holiday season.

This year Mississauga will be is getting an epic light exhibition, that might become the crowning jewel of GTA’s Christmas season.

Lasting until the New year’s Eve, Cavalia is bringing “Illumi”   – a brilliant world of 20 million lights illuminating an area equivalent of 10 football fields.

As per Cavalia, this will be the largest light, sound & multimedia show in the world.

The show was originally planned for 2021, but was postponed due to the pandemic.  This will be the second location for illumi by Cavalia as the light exhibition is a fixture in Quebec since 2019.

You will be able to walk through a wonderland filled with thousands of monumental light sculptures and it may take  between 60 and 90 minutes to discover all the fascinating aspects of the light walk.

The highlight of the show is said to be the majestic Tree of Lights,  – a 47 meters high structure made with 8,000 interactive luminous spheres.

Illumi will open on September 14th and runs until December 31st.

Tickets for the event are currently on sale. The promo prices from September 14th to 28th cost between $8. 98  and $9.98. From October, tickets will cost $14.95 for kids, $17.95 for seniors and $19.95 for ages 13 to 65.
