Proulx Farm
Proulx Farm goes all out for pumpkin season! This year is the 29th annual pumpkin festival, where the farm becomes unrecognizable as a Halloween haven full of spooky treats! While you’re there, there are plenty of great snacks and free parking. It runs from 17th September – 29 October 2023 and is only 30 minutes outside Ottawa.

Ottawa Tree Farm (Fallowfield)
Don’t let the farm’s name throw you off – the pumpkins are abundant at Ottawa Tree Farm! Experience all the very best of fall with the farm’s wagon rides, horse and pony rides and bonfires – and of course, picking your very own pumpkin.
Starting September 23, 2023, wagon rides, horse & pony rides, and bonfires will be available on weekends. Admission to the pumpkin patch is free, while wagon rides, pony rides, and bouncy castles are priced at $5 per child each.

Saunders Farm
Fall is the best time for a visit to Saunders Farm. The team goes all out for the haunted season, where you can experience spooky fun. Of course, this 100-acre destination has a generous pumpkin patch! You can reach Saunders Farm 30 minutes outside Ottawa.

Millers Berry Farm
Over 8 acres of pick-your-own pumpkins are available from mid-September. Additionally, an engaging corn maze is open for exploration until October 31st, with children under one year old enjoying free entry.
The Market Shed offers a variety of farm-grown and local produce, seasonal décor, sweet treats, frozen pies, jams, jellies, local honey, and farm fresh eggs. Wagon rides to the pumpkin patch, available from September 16th to October 31st, cost $5 per person, with children under one riding free.

Cannamore Orchard
Impressing the masses since 1982, Cannamore Orchard is the fall professional. Pick your perfect pumpkin, which is growing in various shapes and sizes! The farm also features some spooky treats like wagon rides, stage shows and more. Open August 26 until Thanksgiving weekend.

Ferriers Scotch Line Farm
Found about one hour outside of Ottawa is the impressive pumpkin store of Ferriers Scotch Line Farm. This family-run and operated farm has been family biz for nine generations! They must be doing something right, which you’ll surely agree with when you see the size, shape and impressive pumpkins. 2023 hours, Friday & Saturday: 10 am – 5 pm.

Lighted Pumpkin Displays
Not exactly a traditional pumpkin patch, Pumpkinferno or lighted pumpkin displays are worth mentioning on this list.
This Halloween season, witness magnificent works of pumpkin artistry – 10,000 hand-carved pumpkins, creating more than 100 sculptures at Upper Canada Village and Wesley Clover Parks.
