Aberfoyle Antique Market

Established in 1961, it is celebrated as Canada’s oldest and largest outdoor antique market, a distinction it has proudly maintained for over six decades.

The Aberfoyle Antique Market is a treasure trove for enthusiasts and collectors alike, housing over 75 permanent vendors and welcoming between 15 to 30 visiting dealers.

Each Sunday, visitors are greeted by more than 100 quality dealers, with the number soaring to over 150 during the special shows. The market’s offerings range from folk art and furniture to vintage clothing and jewelry, ensuring that there’s something for everyone.

Open from spring to fall, the market operates on Sundays, with the season running from April 26 to October 25, 2026.

Additionally, two Saturday Special Shows are slated for June 6 and September 19, offering an even broader selection of items.

Admission is $5 per adult for the regular Sunday markets and $10 for the Saturday Special Shows, with children under 12 admitted free.

Beyond the antiques, the market also caters to culinary tastes with its restaurant serving dishes made from fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Visitors can also indulge in sweet treats from the market’s candy and ice cream offerings.

Free parking is available, but remember to arrive early, as the popular market attracts enormous crowds.

You can combine the trip with nature fun by visiting nearby conservation areas, such as Mountsberg Conservation Area or the Donkey Sanctuary of Canada (which opens the first week of May).
