Air Canada has announced the launch of a year-round, non-stop service between Vancouver International Airport (YVR) and Manila Ninoy Aquino International Airport (MNL).

This marks Air Canada’s first direct route to the Philippines, a significant expansion of its transpacific network.
The announcement was made during Canada’s Team Canada Trade Mission in the Philippines, coinciding with the 75th anniversary of Canada-Philippines diplomatic relations.
The route will operate four times a week using Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft, offering Signature Class with lie-flat seats, Premium Economy, and Economy Class options.
Air Canada’s non-stop Vancouver-Manila service begins April 2, 2025, operating three times weekly. Flights AC17 (Vancouver to Manila) and AC18 (Manila to Vancouver) adjust to four-day service starting May 1, 2025. Departures from Vancouver are at 01:55 a.m., arriving at 06:20 a.m. the next day, while Manila departures are at 09:25 a.m., arriving in Vancouver at 06:20 a.m.
The new route becomes Air Canada’s 12th transpacific connection from Vancouver, joining destinations such as Japan, South Korea, China, Hong Kong, Thailand, Singapore, and Australia.
Tickets for flights departing from Canada are available for purchase now on Air Canada’s website, with bookings for departures from Manila to Canada to open soon.
