Air Canada has announced new and expanded European services for summer 2025, including a new non-stop route between Montreal and Edinburgh and increased capacity to Paris, Rome, and Athens.

The new Montreal–Edinburgh flights will operate three times a week from June 26 to September 6, using a Boeing 737 MAX aircraft.

Flight AC936 departs Montreal at 21:50 and arrives in Edinburgh the next day at 09:20 on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. The return flight, AC937, departs Edinburgh at 11:10 and arrives in Montreal at 13:30 on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.

This will be the only non-stop service between Montreal and Edinburgh and complements Air Canada’s existing Toronto–Edinburgh route.

Air Canada is also increasing service to popular destinations:

  • Paris: Up to 10 weekly flights from Toronto and 14 from Montreal, with three new Toronto flights on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
  • Athens: Up to 10 weekly flights from both Toronto and Montreal, with two new Toronto flights on Tuesdays and Fridays.
  • Rome: Up to 12 weekly flights from Toronto and 9 from Montreal, with extended peak frequencies through October.

The changes are designed to meet increased summer travel demand and expand connectivity from Air Canada’s Montreal and Toronto hubs.
