Amazon has launched the Prime Video Store for Canada with new movie releases such as Jumanji: The Next Level and Sonic the Hedgehog.
All Amazon customers in Canada can now rent or buy new release and blockbuster movies through the Prime Video Store on primevideo.com and the Prime Video app.
Movies will be available from top US and local movie studios, including Disney, Warner Bros., Sony, Paramount, Lionsgate and Elevation.
The Prime Video Store adds to the selection of popular movies and TV shows available to stream on Prime Video at no extra cost to a Prime membership, including Amazon Originals like Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and The Boys.
Customers can browse and view movies via the new ‘Store’ tab on the navigation menu across web, Smart TVs and Android. Previous rent and buy movies will be available to watch in the ‘My Stuff’ tab on iOS.
Prime members have access to further entertainment benefits including music and reading, alongside free delivery on millions of items as fast as same-day for just CAD$ 79/year or CAD$ 7.99/month (plus applicable taxes).
Eligible customers can sign-up for a free 30-day trial.
