Andre De Grasse set a Canadian record when he won the gold medal in the 200m at the Tokyo Olympics.
Finishing at his personal best of 19.62 seconds, Andre De Grasse is the second Canadian who has claimed gold in 200 m after Percy Williams in 1928.
He previously won bronze in the 100m at Tokyo.
De Grasse now has a total of five Olympics medals including a silver in the 200m at 2016 Olympics.

Fellow Canadian Aaron Brown came in sixth place and both will compete in the men’s 100m relay.
Canada now has a total of 15 medals – 4 gold, 4 silver and 7 bronze.
