From Feb. 23, customers across Canada can purchase the Teen Burger for $4.99.

The Teen Burger, introduced in 1961, is one of the chain’s longest-running menu items and has remained a customer favourite. A&W, which first launched in Winnipeg in 1956, describes the Teen Burger as a consistent feature in its lineup for over 60 years.

Made with a beef patty from grass-fed cattle raised without hormones or steroids, the burger includes cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, onions, and a proprietary sauce. Nutritional information for the burger indicates it contains 500 calories, 30 grams of fat, and 27 grams of protein.

The company says the deal is available coast to coast during the promotional window, giving customers just over two weeks to take advantage of the reduced price.

The offer is available at participating A&W restaurants nationwide or through the A&W mobile app. It does not apply to orders placed through third-party delivery platforms.

The promotion ends March 11.

  • I see in the teen burger commercial they aren’t wearing gloves when making the burger. Kinda gross. What restaurant was that? I won’t eat there.
