The burger features double quarter-pound patties of 100% Canadian beef, topped with three slices of white processed cheese, both crispy and slivered onions, pickles, lettuce, and a new tangy Big Arch sauce.
Per the news release, the Big Arch was developed in response to customer feedback requesting a more substantial burger option. According to Alyssa Buetikofer, Chief Marketing Officer at McDonald’s Canada, the burger aims to cater to those with bigger appetites by combining traditional McDonald’s flavours with new elements, like the specifically crafted tangy burger sauce.
McDonald’s says all the burgers sold in the country, including the Big Arch, are made with 100% Canadian beef sourced from Canadian ranches and farms.
