Bent Stick Brewing

Bent Stick Brewing is a nanobrewery in Edmonton run by 4 guys who love beer and decided they wanted to create the beverage they love. It is available in 650ml bottles as well as on tap in select locations around Edmonton, St. Albert and even Red Deer. Encompassing 2 brewery locations and the restaurant Biera, Blind Enthusiasm Brewery are passionate beer-makers. Strathcona Spirits Distillery

Strathcona Spirits Distillery is Edmonton’s first ever distillery and the smallest distillery in all North America. They create great spirits using grains that are locally farmed and forged. Their tours, which include tastings, are $10 for 15 mins. Town Square Brewing

Town Square Brewing is in the Ellerslie neighbourhood in South Edmonton and believe in craft brewing using supplies sourced from local farmers. One of their distinct characteristics is that the pizza/calzone/bread dough is made using spent grain from the brewing process. Brewsters

One of the more established local breweries in Alberta, Brewsters was founded in 1989. They now have over 10 restaurants province-wide. While they have a regular line-up of beverages, they also have seasonal runs which change every three months. On top of outstanding craft beer, they also feature a full menu with pub-style appetizers, burgers, pizzas and even weekend brunch. Details

Barr Estate Winery

While not a brewery, Barr Estate Winery is a winery near the east side of Edmonton where they grow their own berries and plants to use in the wine. They feature 3 different wines; The Other Red, a Raspberry wine with a full flavour, medium body and refreshing off dry taste; The Barb, a pale coral medium bodied rhubarb wine with hints of citrus; The Rhuby, an easy-going rhubarb and strawberry wine. Two Sergeants Brewing

Two Sergeants Brewing is a brewery and pub located in Fort Saskatchewan. It was started by 2 retired military men who always dreamed of owning their own brewery. Try their malt beer that is dark and has hints of caramel and coffee, made in memory of fallen constable Daniel Woodall or the toasted malt beer with dry hops finish made for the local rock station 100.3 the Bear.
