Calgary Police Seeking Public Help in Recovering Valuable Darth Vader Helmet and Other Stolen Memorabilia

Calgary Police are actively searching for high-value movie, television, and sports memorabilia stolen earlier this year and are appealing to the public for help in locating these items.

Per the news release, in the early hours of Saturday, March 25, 2023, a break-in occurred at the Zero Latency On Tilt Calgary, a virtual reality establishment situated at 6940 Fisher Road S.E. Two unidentified males breached the premises around 5:15 a.m. by shattering the glass entrance.

 

Once inside, they purloined a slew of priceless artifacts, including a limited-edition Star Wars Darth Vader helmet bearing the signatures of the original cast, autographed Star Trek and Calgary Flames jerseys, along with other assorted collectibles.

The total value of the missing items is estimated at $51,000.

The two suspects have distinct attire. The first wore a black hooded sweater marked with white stripes, a black toque, grey balaclava, a backpack, and sweatpants emblazoned with what seems to be the word “Champion.” The second sported a black and grey baseball cap reading “On Tilt”, a black balaclava, a two-toned hooded sweater, and entirely black attire.

The police say both suspects fled the scene in what is believed to be a blue 2004 – 2007 Chevrolet Aveo.
