Calgary Stampede has announced that those who are planning to attend Nashville North, a music festival experience during Calgary Stampede will be asked to show proof of vaccine or complete a quick onsite rapid test for COVID-19.

Calgary Stampede says guests can either take a COVID-19 rapid test or will need to show proof of having received at least one dose of vaccine two weeks before the Nashville North entry. Rapid tests for admission into Nashville North are provided free of charge.

The vaccination proof can be a physical copy, photo of your vaccination record or proof via Alberta Health’s The MyHealth App.

In partnership with 19 to Zero, Calgary Stampede is implementing a 2 Ways 2 Two Step plan during Nashville North which includes:

Step 1: Get pre-qualified. Show any proof of vaccination (minimum one (1) dose administered two (2) weeks prior to the entry date) or take a COVID rapid test on-site and return a negative result.

Step 2: Get your wristband. After presenting proof of vaccination or receiving a negative COVID rapid test result, you will receive a wristband for access into Nashville North.

Once on the Stampede grounds, according to the website, you can join the digital queue by scanning the QR code located outside the venue and you will get notified via text when it’s your turn to enter.
