  • Central Image: At the coin’s core is Nuliajuk, a spirit revered in Inuit culture, who is depicted wearing a traditional parka, or atigi. Surrounding her are various Arctic animals—walrus, two beluga whales, seal, and Arctic char—representing the Northern marine environment.
  • Uluit Representations: The outer ring of the coin displays four uluit (traditional knives) designed by the four artists, each representing a different region of Inuit Nunangat. These uluit serve as a regional signature from each artist.

  • Artist Contributions: The design is a collaboration between Tegan Voisey of Nunatsiavut, Thomassie Mangiok of Nunavik, Charlotte Karetak of Nunavut, and Mary Okheena of the Inuvialuit Settlement Region, marking the first time multiple Inuit artists have collaborated on a Canadian coin design.
  • Obverse Design: The obverse features the effigy of King Charles III, created by Canadian artist Steven Rosati.
