The collection, released October 13, features three pumpkin characters: the Mummy, the Witch and the Monster. Each was specially designed and carved for the stamp series, bringing some Halloween fun to everyday mail.
The stamps feature glowing jack-o’-lanterns with their own spooky expressions, from the bandage-wrapped Mummy to the Witch and Monster.
The Halloween theme carries over to the packaging. The booklet cover features glowing pumpkins against a dark backdrop, while the inside shows a crooked pumpkin grin surrounded by gourds.
Kristine Do designed the collection, with photography by Maya Visnyei, pumpkin carving by Zac Flavelle and prop styling by Catherine Doherty. The stamps were printed by Colour Innovations.
A Special Connection to Alberta’s Pumpkin Capital

The new stamps also have a connection to a small Alberta community known for its love of pumpkins.
Smoky Lake, often called the “Pumpkin Capital of Alberta,” is home to the annual Great White North Pumpkin Weigh-Off & Fair, where pumpkin growing is a celebrated local tradition.
Canada Post chose Smoky Lake as the official cancellation location for the collection’s First Day Cover.
The special envelope features a jack-o’-lantern-shaped postmark bearing the community’s name, giving the Halloween collection a distinctly Canadian connection.

The collection includes:
