Canada’s 100 Best Restaurants which showcases the vibrant culinary scene in Canada, has published its 2023 edition.

The annual publication, led by Editor-in-Chief Jacob Richler, features the country’s top dining destinations as selected by a team of 135 judges, including prominent individuals such as Lauren Mozer, Franco Stalteri, Michael Smith, Mijune Pak, Élise Tastet, and Alexandra Gill.
This year’s edition is particularly exceptional, with an unprecedented number of judges dining nationwide and providing invaluable feedback. The restaurants featured in the list were operating at full capacity, exemplifying their unwavering momentum.
Mon Lapin, located in Montreal, claims the coveted number one spot, leading the way in the city’s gastronomic landscape.
Noteworthy changes can be seen in the rankings, with three new entries in the top 10: AnnaLena and Kissa Tanto in Vancouver, and Beba in Verdun, QC.
The top 20 also welcomes four newcomers, including 20 Victoria, a dynamic force, and Prime Seafood Palace, crowned as the Best New Restaurant of 2023.
Montreal’s Pichai impressively climbed from 45th to 15th place, while Vancouver’s Hawksworth rose from 25th to 20th.
The List also highlights ten newcomers in the top 50, reflecting the diverse culinary scenes across Canada. Notably, four of the Ten Best New Restaurants originate from the East Coast, showcasing the region’s rising culinary prominence.
