Canada’s First Porsche Experience Centre With 2 Km Driving Circuit Coming to Pickering

Porsche Cars Canada, Ltd. is bringing its first and very own Porsche Experience Centre (PEC) to Pickering.

The Greater Toronto Area centre will be called Porsche Experience Centre Toronto and it will be the tenth in the world and third of its kind in North America after Atlanta and Los Angeles.

 

PEC Toronto is slated to open by 2024.

Porsche Experience Centre will include a driving circuit over 2 kilometres in length, designed by Tilke Engineering where car enthusiasts can immerse themselves in the world of Porsche regardless of whether they own one or not. It will also feature a museum that showcases current and historic exhibition vehicles.

The centre will be located on a 20-acre site at the “Durham Live” development, which currently features a casino. Future developments include a concert venue, more than 400,000 square feet of retail space, and a luxury hotel with more than 300 rooms.

This centre will the brand’s first “urban” version of the worldwide concept and according to the news release visitors to PEC Toronto can experience vehicle dynamics, technology, and emotion first-hand with expert guidance from Porsche instructors through various driving modules all year long.
