The celebrations on February 22 will offer a variety of sports and activities, including volleyball, hockey target practice, and backyard games. Special guests and giveaways are also planned.

Game Day festivities will take place at WinSport in Calgary, MLSE LaunchPad in Toronto, and IGA Stadium in Montreal, running from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. local time. Additional event details and guest appearances will be announced closer to the date.

Beyond the three main locations, more than 140 Jumpstart community partners across the country will host their own activities on February 22 and 23, offering free programming to local families.

The events coincide with the official inception date of Jumpstart, a charity focused on making sports more accessible for children. Since 2005, Jumpstart has worked to eliminate financial and social barriers to participation in recreational activities across Canada.

“As we celebrate this milestone, we invite families to join us for a day of play,” said Marco Di Buono, President of Canadian Tire Jumpstart Charities. “Jumpstart remains committed to ensuring all kids have access to the sports they love.”
