Chipotle Mexican Grill is adding another restaurant in Scarborough, with a new location set to open Thursday, August 13.

The restaurant at 1880 Eglinton Ave. E. will be Chipotle’s third opening in the Greater Toronto Area this year, its second Scarborough location and its first street-front restaurant in the community.
The expansion is part of a larger push across Ontario. Chipotle plans to open seven restaurants in the province in 2026, with five of those expected to be in the GTA. The company currently has more than 80 restaurants across Canada.
“Our growth in the GTA is driven by Canadians’ appetite for real food made with high-quality ingredients,” said Anat Davidzon, Toronto-based Managing Director of International at Chipotle.
The Scarborough restaurant will operate daily from 10:45 a.m. to 10 p.m. Opening day will also come with a giveaway, with the first 50 guests in line receiving a complimentary Chipotle-branded speaker while supplies last.
Chipotle Honey Chicken
On the menu, customers will be able to order Chipotle Honey Chicken, the company’s newest protein option. The location will also offer Chipotle’s High Protein Menu, which includes items containing between 15 and 81 grams of protein.
The opening is expected to create about 30 local jobs. Employee benefits listed by Chipotle include tuition reimbursement, retirement savings matching and access to mental healthcare.
The company also offers referral bonuses of $200 for employees who recommend a new crew member and $750 for referrals who become an Apprentice or General Manager.
