Kentville Torchlight Parade
The Kentville Torchlight Parade marks the beginning of Kentville’s Christmas shopping season. It is also the night when all the lights around Centre Square, Downtown Kentville, and the Christmas tree are lit up. There is also free skating at the Kentville Arena after the parade and lighting of the town.

Get into the holiday spirit with a night of lights, holiday décor, great food and drinks at the Wolfville Annual Night of Lights. The whole town is lit up with LED lights after the Annual Night of Lights.

New Ross Christmas Festival
New Ross boasts a spectacular weekend of Christmas fun, held annually on the first weekend of December. This Christmas celebration begins with hundreds of people gathering at the heart of New Ross to countdown the lighting of the tree while sipping hot chocolate after having a full belly from the earlier potluck supper. This is followed by a weekend of craft fairs, home cooked meals, carolers, Christmas tree U-picks, children’s fun and visits to local artisans, topped off with magical entertainment, wonderful singers, and dancing the night away.

Twas the night before Christmas and all through the concert hall the Wee Folk children were singing as loud as they could for all to hear in their best Christmas pajamas!! The annual Christmas concert will be on December 4th at 5:30 in the evening at The New Beginnings Centre. Light refreshments will be served and there will be a visit from Santa after the concert.

As part of the New Ross Christmas Festival staff at Ross Farm Museum has put together a great holiday program for your enjoyment. Step back in time to experience Christmas in the Country. At Rose Bank Cottage, you can sample traditional dishes from the period such as plum pudding, sugar cookies & warm spiced cider while you enjoy some of your favorite Christmas carols.
There will be craft activities in the schoolhouse and farm workshop. Weather permitting there will be horse-drawn rides.
