Cineplex has unveiled its latest Playdium entertainment center at CF Fairview Mall in Toronto.

Situated next to Cineplex Cinemas Fairview Mall, the 22,000-square-foot venue offers a wide range of entertainment options for families and children, aiming to combine fun, food, and gaming under one roof.
What to Expect:
Visitors to Playdium Fairview can look forward to a variety of attractions:
- Gaming Galore: Over 60 amusement games cater to all interests and age groups, featuring classics, racing simulators, virtual reality, claw machines, and Duck Pin bowling.
- Reward System: Guests can earn points and redeem prizes, such as plush toys and board games, at the Swag Shop.
- Dining Options: The on-site eatery, Bites, serves a mix of snacks and meals, including poutine, pizza, nachos, and desserts.
- Event Spaces: Private rooms are available for hosting birthday parties, corporate gatherings, or other special occasions.
For movie enthusiasts, the adjacent Cineplex theatre includes nine auditoriums, six of which offer enhanced viewing experiences such as UltraAVX, RealD 3D, and D-BOX seating.
Ellis Jacob, Cineplex’s President and CEO, described the launch as a key addition to the area. “Playdium creates a space where families and friends can share memorable experiences through movies, gaming, and great food,” Jacob stated. Rory MacLeod, Cadillac Fairview’s Executive Vice President of Operations, highlighted the collaboration, saying it enhances the shopping mall’s offerings by adding entertainment into the mix.
The new location has also contributed to the local economy by creating approximately 100 jobs.
