Cirque Du Soleil Brings OVO to Ottawa This July

Cirque du Soleil is set to dazzle audiences once again with its 25th-anniversary show, “OVO,” next summer in Ottawa.

  • A Tale of Love: The narrative follows a quirky, gawky insect who, upon arriving in this bustling environment, instantly falls for a charming ladybug, adding a heartfelt dimension to the spectacle.

  • Stunning Acrobatics: Witness crickets launching off trampolines and a hypnotic spider twisting gracefully within her web, highlighting the incredible talents of an international cast representing 17 nationalities, including artists from Brazil, Russia, and Canada.
  • Innovative Set Design: Designed by Gringo Cardia, the set draws inspiration from natural structures created by insects, featuring organic shapes with minimal straight lines to mimic a genuine habitat.
