Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada is set to offer a one-night-only Halloween event that turns its underwater exhibits into a haunted venue for adults.
The event, which stretches into the late hours, will transform the aquarium’s tranquil waters into a sinister playground.
The 19+ event will feature DJ and drag performer Adrianna Exposée (@dragbarbie) as host, blending music, live entertainment, and Halloween-themed attractions with the aquarium’s marine displays. Guests will have after-hours access to the venue, which will be decorated with eerie props and lighting.
The evening will include a costume contest offering prizes of $500 for first place, $300 for second, and $150 for third. Complimentary popcorn and cotton candy will be provided, alongside themed cocktails, mocktails, and specialty bites available for purchase.
Tarot card readers will be on-site to provide fortune readings, adding to the Halloween ambiance.
The Dark Waters celebration will take place on Friday, October 31, 2025, from 8 p.m. to midnight.
Admission is priced at $60 plus HST, with discounted tickets for Ripley’s members at $51 plus HST. Food and beverage tokens can be purchased by debit or credit only, as cash will not be accepted.
