The Canadian National Exhibition (CNE) will return to Exhibition Place in Toronto for its 146th year from August 15 to September 1, 2025, introducing a new attraction that elevates the traditional fair experience — Dinner in the Sky.

This unique dining setup involves guests being seated at a table lifted 150 feet into the air, offering 360-degree views of the CNE Midway. Each table seats up to 22 people in a chef-hosted format where meals are prepared and served on-site during the flight. The concept, which has seen success in cities like Dubai, Tokyo, and Punta Cana, is being presented for the first time at a Canadian festival.

Multiple sessions of the airborne dining experience will be held daily near Stanley Barracks by Hotel X, beginning at 3 p.m. Flights will continue into the evening, including dinner and cocktail options during sunset and night hours. Prices for the experience start at $110 per person, and the ticket also covers general admission to the fair.

Five menu and flight packages are available. The entry-level Cocktail Hour option is priced at $110 and includes drinks but no meal. The Light Grazing package costs $240 and features cured meats, cheeses, vegetables, and local accompaniments. At $275, the Spanish Canadian Tapas offering includes small plates combining Spanish and Canadian culinary elements.

The Full Experience, a multi-course tasting menu, is offered at $315 during the day and $345 at sunset. Both include starters, mains, and dessert with a Canadian and international focus. All options come with a welcome cocktail and Canadian wine. Vegan and dietary accommodations are available.

The 2025 CNE will also include a Drag Brunch EXtravaganza featuring original cast members from Season 1 of Canada’s Drag Race, as well as MYTHOS, an immersive storytelling installation based on cultural narratives. Another debut is a dynamic aerial acrobatics show, Aerial Ballon Show “Evolution.” Traditional attractions such as the Canadian International Air Show, the SuperDogs showcase, Classic Championship Wrestling, the Gaming Garage, and the ice skating and acrobatics show led by Elvis Stojko will also return.
