It’s time to go on a mouth-watering Caribbean culinary journey without leaving the YYZ!

Taste The Caribbean Food Festival
Get ready for a delightful whirlwind tour of Jamaica, Trinidad, Barbados, Guadaloupe, Dominica, Haiti, and more, all wrapped up in one epic 2-day event: the Taste The Caribbean Food Festival. With over 40 vendors, you won’t need a plane ticket to dive into the Caribbean!
Expect your taste buds to dance to the spicy, tangy, and scrumptious rhythm of Caribbean cuisine. Last year’s plantain and rum shot-o-clock competitions were a belly-busting hit that connected foodies from all walks of life. Feast on award-winning Island Grill GTA’s jerk poutines or savour Ti Kay La Foods’ St Lucian fish cakes and jerk pork belly.
As Executive Director Sandi Folkes lights up, “Spreading diversity and raising awareness of the Caribbean fusion are the reasons we love collaborating with our community’s small businesses.” The festival isn’t just about food; it’s a total Caribbean experience. Get ready to sway to live DJ sets, reggae artists, and steelpan sounds. Enjoy tassa performances and feel the beats resonate within you.
Festival-goers of all ages can join in the fun with free activities, including a painting workshop and a craft & play zone for the kids. Savour the moment, create memories and relish the vibrancy of Caribbean culture.
