From June to September, Hunter Valley Adventures offers memorable Bow River and Upper Red Deer River trips for people and families of all ages.

Hunter Valley Adventures
Hunter Valley is an outfitting company in central Alberta that provides a series of thrilling white-water trips, guides included. The adventures range in thrill levels, with some suitable for kids as young as six years old. They don’t just offer these via simple rafts but have other ways to explore the rugged waters.
See below for some of the ways you can adventure on the Red Deer River with Hunter Valley this summer.
Book a trip for the whole family
The family rafting trips on Bow River and Upper Red Deer River are a perfect way to celebrate a birthday or special occasion, or they could just act as a cool outing that impresses your kids! You and your family will spend about 2.5 hours on the white waters of the Red Deer River.
How much: start at $ 95 Per Person
Hit the Rapids!
These aren’t any regular old Whitewater excursions: these adventures can either be Kayak Whitewater Rafting or Whitewater Canoeing. Both crafts are the inflatable tandem type, meaning there is room for an experienced guide to travel the water with you!
How much: start at $150 Per Person (must be 18+)
Stay the Night!
There are overnight rafting trips available from Hunter Valley, which make everything a lot more convenient after a day of thrills on the water. But you don’t have to book for only one night. These trips can include two nights at their rustic camp as well. At the camp, you’ll stay in a rustic but quaint cabin with a few communal areas.
