Tulip Fest is returning to Sandhill Creek, a family-run farm located in South Bruce Peninsula.

You will have the chance to wander through four acres of blooming tulips. More than 350,000 bulbs were planted last fall, making it the only tulip festival of its kind in Grey-Bruce counties.

You’ll be able to walk along the paths between rows of tulips in full bloom, snap photos, and soak in the spring colours. For those who want to take a piece of the experience home, tulips can be picked for $1.50 per stem. It’s important to note that picked flowers must be purchased, and the bulbs remain in the ground.

General admission is $11.95 plus HST, with free entry for children five and under. Tickets must be purchased online. While bouquets and boutique items can be paid for with cash, debit, or credit, entry is by advance online purchase only.

The festival will go ahead rain or shine, with exceptions for severe weather like thunderstorms. The farm’s sandy soil handles rain well, but visitors are advised to wear suitable footwear.

Professional photographers are welcome on weekdays and can shoot without extra fees, as long as they stick to handheld cameras. No drones, tripods, or large equipment are allowed. Everyone in the group needs a ticket. Dogs aren’t allowed during tulip season unless they’re service animals.

You’ll find free parking on-site and accessible main paths that accommodate strollers and mobility aids—just keep in mind that it’s still a field, so expect some uneven ground. Porta potties are available.

The festival is scheduled to open on May 9th. The opening date may be moved ahead depending on Mother Nature and tulip growth. Come back in summer for their annual sunflower festival.
