Tulip Festival

Held in Agassiz, this festival is much more than just tulips. Fields of beautiful Tulips, Hyacinths and Daffodils create a feast for the eyes, and the on-site food trucks and traditional Dutch treats offer treats for the mouth. Kids will enjoy the yard games, crafts, and the whole farm experience. mid April to early May 2026

PACIFIC RIM WHALE FESTIVAL

The Pacific Rim Whale Festival is an annual event celebrating the return of Pacific Grey Whales to the West coast of Vancouver Island on their Northern migration route. The week-long festival hosts a number of fun events throughout Tofino, Ucluelet, and the Pacific Rim National Park Reserve. March 14-21, 2026

VANCOUVER CHERRY BLOSSOM FESTIVAL

Running for almost the entire month of April, this festival is so famous it brings people from all over to visit the city. A variety of events make this a fun month, as you can experience everything from a gala night to a Japanese Fair, a picnic in David Lam Park, to a block party in downtown. ALTITUNES MUSIC FESTIVAL

The Vancouver International Burlesque Festival is Canada’s longest-running burlesque festival, as well as one of the most prestigious Burlesque festivals in Canada! VANCOUVER INTERNATIONAL CHILDREN’S FESTIVAL

Granville Island has been hosting the Children’s Festival for years, and this is a fantastic opportunity for the family to get out and have some fun together. With an amazing array of theatre and circus performances, pajama nights and enjoyable activities, it is worth it to purchase a Festival Pass for every member of your family. May 25 – 31, 2026

ABBOTSFORD TULIP FESTIVAL

There is nothing more beautiful than looking upon rows and rows of blooming tulips, and this event starts the spring season with color and fresh flowers. Along with the tulips, there are play areas for kids, picnic shelters to enjoy a packed lunch, or indulge in snacks from the on-site food trucks or concession. There is even a market stall to purchase your own bouquet before you leave. mid- April to early May, 2026

WORLD SKI AND SNOWBOARD FESTIVAL

You don’t have to be a skier or a boarder to enjoy this festival. Along with on-hill action, there are fun events like live music,photography, filmmaking, nightlife, and more. Many events happening in Whistler Village are free to attend and view, but you do require a lift pass to enjoy the events on the hill itself. Evening events may also have entrance fees. April 6- 12, 2026

WINGS OVER THE ROCKIES

An incredible 100 events over the space of 7 days offer every bird lover a chance to enjoy this special time of year. Hosted by wildlife experts, biologists, ecologists, educators, and other experts, visitors can participate in hikes, paddles, presentations, and field trips to learn about the more than 265 species of birds that fly through this area. May 4 – 10, 2026

GARDEN PARTY

Garden Party is a 360-degree open-air house music experience set in the heart of Kelowna’s City Park. With curated sound, exceptional pours, and a sunlit dancefloor, the event brings together music lovers for a day defined by rhythm, style, and connection. May 9, 2026
