If you have ever wondered what it feels like to stand knee-deep in a flooded cranberry bog, Riverside Cranberries is giving you a short seasonal window to find out.

Owned and operated by the Dewit family for over a decade, this picturesque Glen Valley farm will open for the 2026 season on September 30.
What to See & Do:
The family farm’s 2026 harvest program brings back its Cranberry Plunge, farm tours and seasonal shop as the crop comes in. “Harvest is on the horizon!” the farm says, noting tours will run on only a select number of dates around Thanksgiving because the harvest moves quickly each autumn on site.
You can either tour the farm during the Cranberry Harvest Farm Tour, or you can observe cranberries being harvested or pumped from the field, although the specific stage of harvest during your visit isn’t guaranteed. Use a QR Code for a self-guided audio tour, plus informational displays and a scavenger hunt for kids.
You can also get tickets for “The Cranberry Plunge.” Imagine donning farm waders and leaping into a sea of floating cranberries! It’s a one-of-a-kind adventure that blends fun and Instagram-worthy photo ops in equal measure.

Antique cranberry-cleaning equipment in action adds a touch of history to the experience. Don’t forget to stock up on fresh cranberries and other farm-to-table goodies at the on-site farm store.

When can you take the Cranberry Plunge?
You can book the plunge from September 30 to October 12, except Sundays, October 4 and 11. Bookings open September 1. You will wear farm-supplied chest waders and step into knee-deep water among floating cranberries.
What happens on the farm tour?
You can walk beside an active harvest field, follow a QR-code audio tour, try a children’s scavenger hunt, see antique cranberry-cleaning equipment and visit the Kids Corner. The harvest stage you see depends on the day.
Do you need separate tickets?
Yes, for both experiences. Buy the farm tour first, then add a Cranberry Plunge ticket for the same time slot. For the plunge only, choose a date outside tour times.
Who can take part?
The plunge is open to adults and children over age 5, with groups capped at 10. Children 12 and under need an adult. There are no children’s or seniors’ rates, and pets are not allowed.
When is the farm store open?
The seasonal store reopens September 14, Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. You can buy cranberry products, baked goods, beverages and fresh cranberries. Tour tickets are available online or at the gate, space permitting.
