Hey there, treasure hunters! Easter is around the corner, and the Grand Order of Divine Sweets (The GOoDS) is back with their annual Grand Hunt.

The Grand Hunt -

Grand Order of Divine Sweets

The Grand Order of Divine Sweets (The GOoDS), Toronto’s premiere custom bakery with a geeky twist, is back with its city-wide quest on March 28.

This isn’t a small giveaway. Organizers say more than $5,000 in cash and prizes will be scattered across midtown and downtown Toronto. At the centre of it all is a $1,000 Grand Prize Smash Egg, a handcrafted chocolate shell with cash tucked inside. There are also two $500 Smash Eggs, supported by Digital Extremes, the studio behind Warframe and the upcoming Soulframe.

In total, 10 mini treasure chests will be hidden outdoors. Each contains a scroll that leads to a prize, redeemable at The Grand Order of Divine Sweets café on Queen Street West. Every chest guarantees a cash reward, ranging from $100 to $1,000.

The hunt begins at 10 a.m., with clues released through Instagram and Facebook stories under @thegoodsweetsto. Participants who recognize a location from the clues can head out and try to be the first to claim a chest. And when you find one, bring it into The GOoDS Café located at 1162 Queen St W, Toronto, before 7 p.m. to discover your treasure.

To gain an early advantage, visitors can stop by the café before March 28 and ask staff for a head-start clue. Only one chest will be placed per location, and prizes are awarded to the first person who finds each one. The event is free, and no purchase is required to take part.

Remember, the hunt begins at 10 am on March 28. If you are younger than 18, make sure you have an adult with you to claim the prize.

Everything is placed in public, accessible areas, with no digging or damaging property.

If ten chests prove too elusive? Organizers say more hints will be released until every last one is found.

Don’t miss out on this exciting event, and let the hunt for delicious treasures begin!
