As COVID-19 pandemic continues to wreck lives across the world, a glimmer of hope.
According to COVID-19 statistics compiled by the Center for Systems Science and Engineering (CSSE) at Johns Hopkins University (JHU), total COVID19 recoveries have passed 500,000 and the total number of reported deaths stand a little above 128,000. This is almost 4 times the number of deaths.
In Canada, the total number of cases stands at 27,063 with 903 deaths and total recoveries at 8,235. This means that almost 30% of the Canadians who contracted the disease have now officially recovered.

450,717 people have been tested for COVID-19 in Canada, which corresponds to a test rate of 11,991 per million population. The percent positivity is 5.9%.
