The Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto will open to the public today at 5 p.m.

Located adjacent to Woodbine Racetrack, the casino resort is the newest and largest of its kind in Canada and one of the largest in North America.
Per the news release, the gaming floor, spanning an impressive 328,000 square feet, offers a wide range of options for gaming enthusiasts, including 4,800 slot machines, 145 live table games, VIP rooms, and sports betting kiosks.
The resort, situated on 33 acres, will soon feature a luxurious 400-room hotel across 11 floors, a wellness center with an indoor pool and fitness equipment, and a state-of-the-art 5,000-person entertainment venue for live music, comedy, sports, and special events.
The resort also boasts an impressive collection of public art, with $5 million invested in unique artworks displayed throughout the property.
The resort features a 250,000 square feet green roof, the second largest in Canada, and the installation of solar panel canopies.
Beyond gaming, the resort offers a variety of dining and shopping experiences including 15 retail locations and diverse culinary options such as Copperhorn Meat House, CA.SU.AL gastropub, and The Eatery.
Convenient access is ensured with a well-lit parkade providing 3,800 covered parking spaces and 24-hour security. Electric vehicle parking spots are also available for eco-conscious guests.

Great Canadian Entertainment says the development of the resort has brought significant economic benefits to the region.
With an investment of approximately $1 billion, Great Canadian Toronto is one of the largest private sector projects currently in Ontario and will generate over $500 million in economic impact.
The resort will employ nearly 2,000 people.
