Santa and Mrs. Claus will make their appearance in town on Saturday, November 15, 2025.
The annual Santa Parade, a long-standing family tradition, is set to begin at 2:00 p.m. that afternoon.
The parade will support Mission Services of Hamilton through its annual food drive. Attendees are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items or make monetary donations to assist residents in need. The organization’s volunteers will be stationed along the route to collect contributions.
Time, Route, and Festivities
This year’s procession will begin at the intersection of Upper Sherman Avenue and Acadia Drive. From there, participants will proceed north along Upper Sherman Avenue, turning west onto Limeridge Road East, and continue toward Lime Ridge Mall Road.
The parade will officially end at the south parking lot of Lime Ridge Mall at 999 Upper Wentworth Street, near the former Hudson’s Bay store.
Spectators can view the parade along the entire route and are invited to gather at the mall for the post-parade festivities.
CF Lime Ridge will offer family-friendly activities throughout the day. Families can participate in the Holiday Retailer Passport Scavenger Hunt, running throughout the day. Shoppers can join the fun by collecting stamps from participating stores and returning completed passports to Guest Services for a chance to win a $250 Primaris Mall Gift Card, while supplies last.
Additionally, Santa and Mrs. Claus will conclude the parade by lighting the Christmas tree at Lime Ridge Mall around 4:30 p.m.
Following the parade, Santa will be at CF Lime Ridge Mall through December 24, allowing families ample time for visits throughout the holiday season.

To accommodate the event, several road closures will be in place on Saturday, November 15.
Road closures include:

For those using Hamilton Street Railway (HSR) public transit, detours will be in place on Routes 24 (Upper Sherman) and 43 (Stone Church) during the parade hours. Riders are advised to check for route changes to ensure smooth travel.
HSR Transit Options for Parade Access
The Hamilton Street Railway (HSR) has planned several transit options to help residents get to and from the parade route efficiently. Several stops along Upper Sherman Avenue and Stone Church Road are temporarily out of service.
Passengers heading to the parade or Lime Ridge Mall should use Upper Gage Avenue as the main detour corridor, where temporary stops will be in service to replace those closed along Upper Sherman Avenue and Stone Church Road.
The Hamilton Santa Claus Parade Committee encourages everyone to come prepared for the weather and bring a festive spirit, as you get ready for the holiday season
