Here are the New COVID-19 Isolation Rules For Fully Vaccinated and Unvaccinated Ontarians

Ontario has unveiled a set of new rules for managing COVID-19 cases for vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals in the province.

As per the new rules unveiled today, those who are fully immunized against COVID-19 no longer have to isolate if they came in contact with a person with COVID-19 and have no symptoms of COVID-19. Those with symptoms (and positive after a test) and those who are not fully vaccinated or unvaccinated should selfisolate for 10 days.

An individual is defined as fully immunized if more than 14 days have passed since they received their second dose of a two-dose COVID-19 vaccine series or their first dose of a one-dose COVID-19 vaccine series that is listed for emergency use by the World Health Organization or approved by Health Canada.
