Holiday Street Market: A Massive New Christmas Carnival Opens This Weekend in Scarborough

The Holiday Street Market at the Scarborough Town Centre is the newest attraction this winter season. If you’re in search of festive fun, this holiday market is the best place to visit in the East end of Toronto.

You will find all kinds of fun holiday-related activities here and the best part is that you can stay for as long as you like.

Things to Do at Holiday Street Market:

At this holiday event, you can see a Christmas tree from a different perspective with their huge walk-in Christmas tree. You will be enchanted by thousands of tiny twinkling lights on the inside. This massive tree has over 50,000 lights!

Walk down Lovers’ Lane with your sweetheart under the warm glow of 20,000 shimmering lights or sit down with family at the longest 200’ table and enjoy a wonderful dinner.

 

Sit by the fire pit and roast marshmallows while you share laughs and stories and make new memories. You can also enjoy mulled wine made with mulled spices and citrus or beer and cider.

At the Sugar Shack try their traditional maple syrup lollipops made with maple syrup and fresh snow. Many food trucks selling all kinds of delicious snacks will be at the holiday market.

The holiday street market also has a festive hot chocolate bar where you can choose any topping you like, including hot cocoa bombs, chocolate chips, candy cane and so much more.

Kids will have loads of fun with unlimited rides on the carousel, bouncing castle, pirate ship and so many other rides. All of these are part of the admission ticket.

You can complete your Christmas shopping at the artisan stalls. They have more than 80 stalls selling all kinds of wonderful festive items.

The Holiday Street Market – Event Information

What: Start a new holiday tradition and experience Ontario’s first 35′ tall walk-in Christmas tree to tunnels of starry lights, 80+ artisan village, UNLIMITED winter wonderland rides, marshmallow fire pit lounge, mulled wine, maple syrup sugar shack, food trucks, longest table, hot cocoa bar and more, there’s something for everyone!

When: December 3-5th, 10th-12th, 17th-19th and from 21st to 24th.

How much: Prices are $20 for adults (18+) and $15 for youth (2-17). Children under 2 do not require a ticket. They have free parking at the town centre.
