IKEA Canada is planning an expansion of its customer meeting points and service network.

The national retailer is set to open new Plan and Order points in Lachenaie, Quebec, and London, Ontario, in spring 2024.
Per the news release, the Lachenaie Plan and Order point will be the third such location in the Greater Montreal Area, offering expert support for complex purchases like kitchen and bathroom projects.
The London Plan and Order Point will open at London’s Wonderland Power Centre, a prominent retail destination.
While products won’t be available for immediate takeaway, Ikea says customers can schedule personalized appointments to explore a curated selection of IKEA solutions. After placing orders, customers can have items delivered directly to their homes or a local Pick-up point.
Additionally, IKEA Canada will be launching a Pick-up location in Thunder Bay, Ontario at 243 N Cumberland St., starting October 28th. This move aims to make shopping more accessible and affordable for those without easy access to an IKEA store.
Customers will be able to have their IKEA home furnishings delivered to the Thunder Bay Pick-up location, joining a network of 15 Pick-up locations and 35 PenguinPickUp locations across Canada.
