Canadian singer-songwriter Jann Arden is set to embark on a nationwide tour in support of her new album, Mixtape.
The 12-date tour, produced by Live Nation Canada, begins on May 30 at the Scotiabank Centre in Halifax and includes stops in London, Ottawa, Toronto, Edmonton, and Calgary before concluding in Vancouver.
Mixtape, released on January 31 through Universal Music Canada, follows Arden’s 2021 album Descendant. The album, recorded in Calgary at Broom Closet and OCL Chestermere Studios, was produced by longtime collaborator Russell Broom. It features covers of 1990s pop hits by artists including Sia, Seal, Joan Osborne, Robyn, Don Henley, and Chris Isaak. The album is available in multiple formats, including CD, LP, cassette, and digital.
Arden, a multi-platinum artist, has released 15 albums and achieved 19 top ten singles. She has received eight JUNO Awards, including Female Artist of the Year and Songwriter of the Year, as well as 10 SOCAN Awards and four Western Canadian Music Awards. In 2020, she was inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame, joining artists such as Alanis Morissette, Bryan Adams, and Joni Mitchell.
