The Great Outdoors Comedy Festival is a 19+ event which is scheduled to take place from August 11 to 13 at Garrison grounds.
Jerry Seinfeld will be bringing his wildly popular style of comedy to Halifax on Friday, August 11th at 6:30 p.m.
Jerry Seinfeld rose to fame after his debut on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson in 1981. Later, he collaborated with comedian Larry David to create the most successful comedy series in television history: Seinfeld. His latest Netflix projects, which include Jerry Before Seinfeld, 23 Hours to Kill, and Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, have earned Emmy nominations and critical acclaim.
The festival is yet to announce other participating artists.
General admission tickets for the event start at just $69, with VIP reserved seats available for $139-$309 per person. The VIP package includes table-side service, early entry into the grounds, a VIP drink menu, and more.
A portion of the festival’s proceeds will be donated to the Canadian Progress Club – Halifax, a group of volunteers dedicated to creating opportunities for individuals with special needs.
Great Outdoors Comedy Festival also holds events in Calgary and Edmonton.
It will be the festival’s first year in Halifax after debuting in Edmonton in 2021.
Jonathan Van Ness, Monét X Change, Priyanka, Annie Lederman and DJ Kav will entertain Calgary festivalgoers.
Headliners for the Edmonton edition of the Great Outdoors Comedy Festival are not yet announced.
Pre-sale begins on Thursday, March 2nd and public sale on March 3rd at 10 a.m. local time.
