Mary Brown’s Chicken is marking its third year of partnership with José Bautista with a new limited-time meal built around some of the former baseball star’s favourite items.
The meal, called José’s Double Deal, is timed with the summer baseball season and is designed as a shareable option for two. It includes two Big Mary sandwiches or Spicy Big Mary sandwiches, with the option to mix and match. The deal also comes with shareable Taters, four Naked Wings and three sauces: Eh!, MB Sauce and BBQ.
Kala Patel, vice-president of marketing at MBI Brands, said the partnership with Bautista has grown over the past few years through different programs. She said José’s Double Deal reflects that relationship and Mary Brown’s focus on bringing Canadians together over food.
Bautista said he has enjoyed working with the brand and described the meal as a combination of some of his favourite menu items, meant to be shared with family and friends.
José’s Double Deal is available at participating Mary Brown’s Chicken locations across Canada from June 2, 2026, to September 30, 2026. The meal is priced at $24.99 in-store and through the Mary Brown’s App, though prices may vary by region and delivery platform. Third-party delivery pricing may also differ.
Mary Brown’s Chicken has more than 290 locations across Canada and is fully Canadian-owned. The company was first established in St. John’s, Newfoundland, in 1969.
