Ontario’s summer adventure destination – Canada’s Wonderland has announced that long weekend fireworks and summer food festivals will return this year.

The amusement park opens on April 30th for the 2022 season and you can enjoy 17 roller coasters from Behemoth and Leviathan, to Yukon Striker, the world record-breaking dive coaster.
The 20-acre water park, Splash Works which features Canada’s largest outdoor wave pool, 17 water slides, exhilarating cliff jumping, water playgrounds, kiddie slides and a Lazy River will open on May 28th.
In addition to all the screamastic rides, the park’s activity calendar is filled with exciting, tasty and extravagant events from long weekend fireworks to glittering winter festival.
There will be three new food festivals with lively street entertainment and traditional foods this year showcasing the time-worn charm of Portugal, flavours and spirited culture of the Emerald Isle and island flavours from jerk chicken to specialty seafood, rum cake and coconut sweets during Taste of Portugal, Taste of Ireland and Taste of the Caribbean respectively.
Canada’s Wonderland will also feature world-class live entertainment through the summer, including Tundra: A Cirque Experience, a new dive stunt show called “Fall Out”, the Victoria Falls High Divers, Woofjocks and performances with Snoopy and the PEANUTS gang.
