Mother’s Day Weekend Must-Do: Explore the Fleurs de Villes ARTISTE Floral Trail in Toronto

The Bloor-Yorkville neighbourhood in Toronto is about to get a lot more beautiful thanks to Fleurs de Villes ARTISTE, a self-guided floral trail during Mother’s Day weekend.

Wander the floral trail inspired by historical and contemporary artists and crafted by Toronto’s top florists. These creations range from Sage Barnes’ floral cocktail inspirations at W Toronto to modern interpretations like Warhol’s Hibiscus at the Manulife Centre. Visit venues like The Anndore House and Holt Renfrew Centre to witness these floral art pieces blooming vividly, complemented by thematic events and refreshments.

During the weekend, you can also delight in performances featuring local musicians like Denielle Bassels, a Canadian jazz sensation known for her eclectic mix of genres and powerful contralto voice. Enjoy the Juan Arce Trio’s elegant renditions of swing and Latin classics, or immerse yourself in Kalya Ramu’s unique jazz narratives. Performances occur on May 11th and 12th from 1:00 to 4:00 pm, weather permitting.

A fresh flower market will also be open on May 11th, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., at multiple locations (The Hazelton Hotel, Village of Yorkville Park, Manulife Centre, and Yorkville Lane).

- When & Where: May 11, 2-3 PM at The W Hotel Living Room, 6th floor. A floral arrangement workshop where participants create their own bouquet, enjoy a curated beverage, and receive a box of macarons for $130 per person.
High Beau-Tea: Fleurs de Villes Edition
- When & Where: Daily from May 8th to 12th at 12 p.m. and 3 p.m. at The W Hotel Living Room, 6th floor. Enjoy a beauty-inspired high tea featuring artistic desserts and premium floral teas served in a unique makeup case presentation.
Chocolate Paint & Wine: Floral Edition
- When & Where: May 11, 3-4 p.m. at The W Hotel Living Room, 6th floor. Experience chocolate artistry and wine tasting for $49 per person, creating edible masterpieces with a floral theme.
W Living Room St. Germain Pop-Up
- When & Where: May 8th – 12th, 4-7 p.m. at The W Hotel Living Room, 6th floor. Join the fun with St. Germain cocktails amid beautiful floral installations in this lively pop-up event.
The Anndore House x Constantine Floral Cocktail
- When & Where: May 8th – 12th at Constantine at The Anndore House. Try the “De: Moi, A: Toi” cocktail featuring a mix of gin, cassis, elderflower, and prosecco, garnished with a dried rosebud.
