The Newfoundland and Labrador Folk Festival is back and better than ever!

Newfoundland and Labrador Folk Arts Society
The lineup for the 47th edition, taking place from July 7 to July 9 in St. John’s Bannerman Park, has just been announced, and it’s a doozy.
Get ready to tap your feet and clap your hands to the sounds of musicians nationwide.
On Friday, listen to Shauna Brown, Kilautup Songuninga, Jim Payne & Fergus O’Byrne, Sechille Sedare, The Burning Hell, and Kellie Loder.
Saturday is just as impressive, with acts like Jing Xia, Baraka, Dave Penny & Daunt Lee, Jeremy Fisher, É.T.É, Michael Park, Kitchinparti, Silver Wolf Band, Dumai Dumai, and Amelia Curran.
Sunday is the perfect day to unwind and enjoy some great music with Louise Gauthier, Dolya, School of Rock, Andrew Smith, À La Souche, Blue Star Juniper, Valmy, Paige Penney, Iris Dement, and Rum Ragged.
As always, kids 12 and under get in for free (with a ticketed adult, of course), and tickets for adults and seniors start at just $20 for daytime admission. Weekend passes are also available for those who want to soak up every last note.
So get ready to grab your tickets, pack a picnic basket, and spend a weekend in Bannerman Park enjoying the best that folk music has to offer. We’ll see you there!
