From June’s Lawnya Vawnya Music Festival to August’s IronFest, there is something for everyone. With headlining acts like Arkells and Alan Doyle, it’s a summer of music not to be missed.
Lawnya Vawnya Music Festival
The 2023 festival will feature over 30 performers, including CAKES DA KILLA, BRIA, CECILE BELIEVE, AQUAKULTURE, REGULARFANTASY, BONNIE TRASH, and more. In addition to music, the festival will offer readings, film screenings, workshops, panels, and a merch and print fair. The festival is set to take place in September, with more events to be announced soon.

Iceberg Alley Performance Tent
The Iceberg Alley Performance Tent is a ten-day Festival that was created to showcase the unique heritage, culture, and traditions of the people of Newfoundland and Labrador.
2023 concert series features a variety of performers across various genres, including Sugar Ray, Soul Asylum, Vertical Horizon, and more. The events are taking place in June and include acts like Collective Soul, Walk Off The Earth, and Great White, with tickets available for purchase at different price points.
The shows are all 19+ events, and there will be various other activities taking place alongside the concerts, such as readings, film screenings, workshops, panels, a downtown music crawl, and a merch and print fair.

Newfoundland & Labrador Folk Festival
Grab a blanket, a lawn chair, and your love of folk music and go to Newfoundland’s premiere summer cultural event. During the day, you can join an interactive workshop where you can learn a new dance, a tune, or a tale. The evenings are jam-packed with talent on the Main Stage.
2023 festival features an impressive lineup of musicians, starting on Friday with Shauna Brown, Kilautup Songuninga, and others. Saturday’s list includes Baraka, Jeremy Fisher, and Amelia Curran. Sunday promises a more relaxing day with acts like School of Rock, Blue Star Juniper, and Iris Dement, among others.
