A&W Canada has launched a pilot project in Ontario to introduce non-alcoholic beer at its restaurants in collaboration with Labatt Breweries of Canada.

Baseball Buds Combo (Buddy Burger, fries and Budweiser Zero) for $9.99 plus tax. (CNW Group/A&W Food Services of Canada Inc.)
This initiative positions A&W as the largest quick-service restaurant chain in Canada to include non-alcoholic beers in its menu offerings.
Specifically, A&W will be serving Budweiser Zero, a zero-alcohol beer produced by Labatt, as part of its beverage options.
The non-alcoholic beer will be available at select A&W locations across Ontario for a limited period during the baseball season.
Customers can purchase the beer as part of the specially created “Baseball Buds Combo,” which includes a Buddy Burger, fries, and a can of Budweiser Zero for $9.99 plus tax. Alternatively, patrons can add a can of Budweiser Zero to any A&W combo for an additional $2.
Budweiser Zero is a 50-calorie beer that contains no alcohol, catering to consumers interested in non-alcoholic beverage options. This partnership between A&W and Labatt, both sponsors of the Toronto Blue Jays, aims to provide a new offering that aligns with the preferences of health-conscious and sober-curious customers.
