What is so special about March 14th? It was recently dubbed Pi Day, with the first three digits of the infinite number being 3.14. So, we celebrate with pie, naturally! And if you need to ask what is so special about pie, then you’re on the wrong list.
And there are many Edmonton bakeries that can help you celebrate pi, math, numbers, and the mystery of the never-ending number, with the best circular treat out there: pie!
These Edmonton bakeries have pi day specials, or simply large menus of pie flavours.
Bon Ton Bakery
The beautifully designed pies and crusts from Bon Ton Bakery can be enjoyed with a side of math and calculations. For this year’s Pi Day, Bon Ton is offering a maple apple, mixed berry, and sour cherry peach pi pies. You can also order the maple apple as a mini pie, or as a crostata.
All pi day baked goods come topped with a baked-on pi symbol. If you need to get your pie on March 14, you can pick one up in store.
