Get ready to hop into Easter and welcome spring at the City of Pickering’s annual Easter Parade!

Credit: City of Pickering
The parade is hosted by the City of Pickering in partnership with Royal Canadian Legion Branch 606.
The parade will follow the same route as last year. It will begin at Annland Street, turn right on Krosno Boulevard, and then on Alyssum Street. It will then turn south on Lublin Ave, turn on Parkham Crescent, and then on Sandy Beach Road, ending at Kinsmen Park. And the Easter Bunny himself will make an appearance!
After the parade, swing by the Legion’s rear parking lot at 1555 Bayly Street between 11:00 am and 12:00 pm for their annual BBQ. Enjoy a free burger or hot dog, take part in games, and catch some live entertainment.
Don’t forget to enter the Bonnet Contest: decorate your bike, wagon, doll pram, or bonnet for a chance to win fun prizes. It’s a full day of springtime fun you won’t want to miss!
