St. John's 
The Churchill Park Music Festival has announced that Grammy Award-winning artist Pitbull will be headlining on Saturday, August 10, in St. John’s.
Known for his energetic performances and iconic “EEEEEEEYOOOOOO” yell, Pitbull has garnered billions of audio streams, video views, and numerous gold and platinum certifications throughout his career.
Aside from his musical achievements, Pitbull, whose real name is Armando Christian Pérez, is a successful entrepreneur and motivational speaker. He co-owns the NASCAR racing team Trackhouse and has various business ventures, including his record label Mr. 305, Inc., and Voli 305 Vodka. He also founded the SiriusXM channel Globalization and co-founded SLAM!, a network of tuition-free public charter schools.
The festival, taking place from August 9 to 18, features a diverse lineup. Shania Twain will headline from August 16 to 18. Other performers include Nickelback, Arkells, and James Barker Band on August 9, and Alan Doyle and Lindsay Ell on August 16. The event also includes performances by Talk on August 17 and Charlotte Cardin and Alli Walker on August 18.
Tickets go on sale on Tuesday, June 18, at 12 noon NDT, available at ChurchillParkMusicFestival.com.
