We’ve got a ton of amazing bakeries and restaurants right here, serving everything from classic pies all the way to ice cream! 1. Sidewalk Citizen


Sidewalk Citizen is locally owned and operated, with two convenient locations in the East Village and Sunnyside. Sidewalk Citizen offers your traditional pumpkin pie with chai whip and candied pumpkin seeds, and also has individual pumpkin cheesecake to enjoy for a limited time from October 10-12.

2. Pie Junkie and Bakery

All fillings at the Pie Junkie and Bakery are made from scratch in small batches and are lovingly baked in a butter pastry. Pies are baked fresh daily. There are three locations in Calgary to serve you.

3. Pies Plus

Pies Plus Cafe is a family-owned business serving Calgarians from the same location in the Avenida Shopping Centre for more than 30 years. Pies Plus Cafe’s claim to fame is its 70-year-old double pizza oven and 100-year-old commercial pastry mixer. Pies Plus offers a classic pumpkin pie as well as a pumpkin pecan pie, both seasonal (October-December).

4. Pearson’s Berry Farm


Founded in 1969, Pearson’s Berry Farm is recognized as having the first commercial orchard of Saskatoon Berries in the world, located in Northern Alberta. They have two locations in Calgary, offering a wide variety of items from berries, to honey and ciders. The full-size pumpkin pie is only available around Christmas and Thanksgiving, but the mini-pies are available year-round!

Pie Cloud’s philosophy embraces everything pie; from sweet to savoury to the sublime (think: over-the-top inventions with unusual flavors, all generously sized). This must be the reason for the three pumpkin pies featured:

Calgary’s first boutique macaron patisserie, serving French macarons with a modern touch. Macaron Pumpkin Pie Cheesecake is available in a full pie, as well as a mini cake.
