About: To raise critical funds and awareness for the Servant’s Annonymous Foundation’s work against human trafficking. Details

When: February 3, 2024 | 10 a.m. registration, 11 a.m. plunge

4. Rocky’s Freezin’ for a Reason Polar Bear Dip

Credit: Rocky Winterfest & Freezin For a Reason

About:  Part of Crimson Lake Winterfest. The Winterfest’s biggest event is Rocky’s Freezin’ for a Reason Polar Bear Dip. Where either individuals or teams fundraise to take an icy dip in Crimson Lake. All money fundraised will be donated to a local community organization of the teams choosing.  Details

When:  February 17, 2024;  Dip at 1 pm

Where: Pioneer Ranch, Crimson Lake Provincial Park  (16km NW of Rocky Mountain House)

How much:  $25 per person registration fee + fundraising.

5. Sylvan Lake Polar Bear Dip

About:  Part of Sylvan Lake Winterfest.  Details

When:  Family Day Weekend, Date TBA

Where: West side of the Pier, Sylvan Lake

How much:  Registration Fee + minimum charity donation

6. Medicine Hat Polar Plunge

About: In support of Special Olympics. Details
