5. Rocky’s Freezin’ for a Reason Polar Bear Dip

About:  Part of Crimson Lake Winterfest. The Winterfest’s biggest event is Rocky’s Freezin’ for a Reason Polar Bear Dip. Where either individuals or teams fundraise to take an icy dip in Crimson Lake, all money fundraised will be donated to a local community organization of the teams choosing.  Details

When:  February 14, 2026;  Dip at 1 pm

Where: Pioneer Ranch, Crimson Lake Provincial Park  (16km NW of Rocky Mountain House)

How much: $10 registration fee is required for participants aged 18 and older, with a minimum donation of $100 to participate.
