Events Description
The Law Enforcement Torch Run presents it’s annual Polar Plunge in support of Special Olympics Alberta. This is a winter fundraising event whereby individuals have the “honour” of bravely jumping into freezing cold waters in the middle of the bitter Alberta winter. They are able to participate by securing donations from friends, family members, co-workers, local businesses, and their community. It’s a great way for everyone—individuals, organizations, and businesses—to get involved in support of Special Olympics Alberta and show winter who’s boss.
Plungers will dive in by paying a registration fee and then fundraise to hit awesome incentive targets. The more donations you raise, the cooler the rewards you’ll earn! And don’t forget – costumes are strongly encouraged!
